Excellent hotel in Bantota Sri Lanka. It's on the beach of the Indian Ocean. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Buffet food is very good. Service is excellent. People are very cooperative. One can enjoy on swimming pool also.
I recently had a wonderful weekend getaway at this beachfront hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, offering stunning views of the sea. The food was delicious, although I must admit it was less spicy than I prefer.
One highlight of my stay was the bath tub with a sea view – it was incredibly relaxing to soak in while gazing out at the waves.
The staff here were friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcome. Their hospitality added a special touch to my stay.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. If you're looking for a serene beachfront retreat with great food and friendly service, this is the place for you..
The room was good and spacious. We booked a superior room sea and swimming pool facing. It was a memorable view and you can relax in the room balcony and have a sea view. You can also enjoy sunset in the evening.
The resort had a big swimming pool and garden where everyone can enjoy and relax. The resort has direct access to the beach. So overall it is recommended for stay.
Nearby Indian restaurant is The Cuisine Delight (TCD).
Absolutely amazing, 10/10 for this place. We had the best stay over at this place wishing it never ended. The views and facilities this hotel has to offer are top notch. Highly recommended
I recently stayed at a beachfront hotel, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. The location was undoubtedly the highlight, as it offered direct access to the beach, which was fantastic.
However, the rooms were quite average and lacked some of the expected amenities for a beachfront property. The entrance to the room left much to be desired; it didn't make a great first impression.
The food quality was also just average, not particularly memorable. However, one disappointing aspect was the hotel's policy regarding swimwear. They only allowed girls in the swimming pool if they were wearing bikinis, even if they were comfortable in shorts and t-shirts. This policy felt restrictive and was a bit disappointing.
In summary, while the beachfront location was a definite plus, the average rooms, unimpressive room entrance, and restrictive swimwear policy left me with mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel.
This hotel literally sits on a beach and the beach is quite clean. That is the good part.
The food (buffet breakfast) was quite ordinary and not what one would expect from a so called 4-star hotel. We didn't dare try the lunch and dinner as the prices seemed exorbitant and there were cheaper and better options outside.
What pissed me off was that they gave 3 half litre bottles of water a day to 4 guests. When we requested regular filtered water jugs, they flatly refused. That, according to me is crass commercialism. There is also a 6GB limit on WiFi internet access, a first for me! We were four people and has asked for a large room. What we got was three beds awkwardly fitted into a regular room. Half the fault is from Make My Trip, who arranged this trip, because they booked a 3 bed room for 4 people. But the hotel should have provided a bigger room with 3 beds at least. Not cram an extra bed into an already small room. When you do all this, please don't call yourself a 4 star hotel.
Very ordinary experience and we were glad to get out of this place.
Temple tree resort & spa is located in Bentota, Srilanka, with an amazing locality. This hotel is just beside the Indian ocean with a very beautiful view. They have two pools along with a poolside bar. The restaurant serves different cuisines. The staff are well mannered and helpful. The adjacent beach area is safe.Wifi available. Recommended.
Excellent place to stay for a luxurious holiday. The rooms were not that bad and the ambience was very nice. The private beach was the best part of the place. Breakfast and dinner buffet was very well organised and lots of good options for vegetarians.
